About a dozen people marched in front of the Wyandotte Board of Education office on Thusday morning, rallying against what they call "racism in Wyandotte schools." Chanting slogans such as "the people united will never be defeated" and "Wyandotte school board, you should know, racism has got to go," the protesters marched for about an hour. Some of the protesters were families of Wyandotte students, while others were members of Michigan Emergency Committee Against War & Injustice. Members of Michigan Emergency Committee Against War & Injustice are planning a Thursday morning protest against Wyandotte Public Schools. Members plan to march in front of the school board offices at 639 Oak from 10 to 11 a.m. "to protest racism in Wyandotte schools."
