Following a loss to crosstown rival Trenton and back-to-back victories at the East/West showdown last weekend, the Wyandotte Roosevelt Bears hockey team wanted to make sure that they keep their focus on what is at hand. The Bears received first-time goals from junior Ryan Lynch and freshman Giuseppe Buscemi, and seniors Chase Schmittou and Benjamin Mekolon posted a perfect game in net as Roosevelt defeated the Saline Hornets 9-0. “This is a league game, and we want to continue to work towards winning a league title,” Roosevelt coach Matt Siewniak said.
