Cathy McCormick, a volunteer with Shelter to Home, introduces us to cats Maxwell and Gertrude. Maxwell, or Maxie, is a sweet boy who is about 7 years old. He loves to snuggle, give head butts, and get belly rubs all day long. He's very talkative and always lets you know when he's around! He will do better in a home with no other animals or kids simply because he has issues with food. He can't seem to control his eating so he is on a special diet that will need to be continued once he is adopted. He loves to give kisses and gentle nibbles on your fingers and does not hesitate to purr. He loves attention and loves to be brushed. Max cannot wait to find his forever home! Each week, Wyandotte Patch features adoptable pets from Shelter to Home, Wyandotte Animal Pound and WAG Animal Rescue. Cathy McCormick, a volunteer with Shelter to Home, introduces us to cats, Naomi and Neil. Naomi is just under 2 years old and has spent 6 months of her life in a small cage at the pound waiting to be adopted. Now she is in foster care with Shelter to Home and is doing well. She loves the attention that she gets all the time and she is looking for a home to call her very own where she can live out the rest of her life. She has been spayed, tested for FeLV/FIV (negative), and is current on all of her vaccines. Naomi’s adoption donation is $100. Neil is an adorable kitten that was saved from a local shelter.
