Todd Browning to Run for Wyandotte City Treasurer in 2013

Todd Browning has served the maximum three consecutive terms on Wyandotte City Council and has filed to run for city treasurer in 2013.

Due to term limits, Wyandotte City Councilman Todd Browning will not be able to run for re-election in 2013. He does not plan to leave public office, however, as he has filed to run for treasurer in the 2013 election. “I think we have a lot of strong momentum going in a good direction for the city, and I just hope to be part of that and continue the positive momentum,” Browning said. In Wyandotte, the seats of the mayor and City Council are limited to three consecutive four-year terms. Browning, who is the only official affected by term limits this time, began his service on City Council in 2001, and then was elected again in 2005 and 2009.
