Constance York is a freelance writer, photographer, screenwriter and amateur filmmaker. She has lived in Wyandotte for the past 24 years. After working nine years for the Detroit Red Wings organization through Olympia Entertainment, she went back to school, earning a degree in communications/journalism from the University of Michigan-Dearborn. Her work has been in The News-Herald Newspapers, Hockey Weekly, Urban Firefighter, Fire Engineering and now on Patch. She also teaches screenwriting classes and does readings and editing.
