Erin McGill Beard
Erin is a lifelong Wyandotte resident who usually has a camera slung about her neck, anticipating the next great shot. An avid photographer, Erin hates for her own photo to be taken. She graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a bachelor's degree in history and a minor in literature. Erin is a volunteer at the Wyandotte Animal Shelter, and proudly has four animals to show for it–three cats and a dog. Erin also has a husband, Billy, who not only puts up with her passion for animals, but joins in as a volunteer as well. In addition to Erin's love of photography and animals, she also enjoys yoga, reading and often can be found on the trails, hiking around at the area metroparks, no matter the season. She dreams of photographing Paris, Tibet and Moscow one day, and having her own gallery show. Erin is excited to be a photographic contributor to Wyandotte Patch.
