About Melissa
Melissa Ptak Moline grew up in Wyandotte. She graduated from Michigan State University with a bachelor’s degree in English and a minor in journalism. She had brief internships at The News-Herald Newspapers and The State News. She taught high school English in both River Rouge and Wyandotte. After the birth of her first daughter, she chose to be a stay at home mom. Melissa lives in Wyandotte with her husband, three daughters and dog. She enjoys playing Scrabble, reading, and Bike Club meetings. She is proud to be a product of and resident of Wyandotte. BASF Park is her favorite place to visit in the city, and she is relieved the totem pole is finally back in place.

Linda, I graduated in '94 from Roosevelt, and I do know your daughter Erin. We took Latin together, and she is a delight. Good work!

Linda, I remember sitting in the tub as a child and I am 34. The library staff believes it is from the Bacon House, which was built in 1897. They think it was from a servant bathroom on the third floor. The tub is older than all of us!
