Hi all!  Just a  little about myself, have lived in Trenton for 29 years of my life, downriver all of my life, so I consider myself, "homegrown".

Involved in many of Trenton's, community activities and other local events, statewide actions (politics, activism).  Have worked for "Detroit Live Magazine", currently the "EVP of Protect Private Property Rights in MI", helped to put together several benefits for local people in our area,  most remembered for my role in the "Kathleen Edward", benefit which went viral and more.  Personally went door to door to businesses in our community to donate for this cause, we have wonderful businesses in Trenton and I look forward to more coming here in the future.

My goal here would be to work very hard in making Trenton a community that other communites look up to.  Help to make it a place where more families with young children would move to,  to raise their families.  I have thought tirelessly about the challenges that face our city everyday and have come up with a few "idea's" that would help us to rise above the challenges we face and are facing at this time in Trenton.  The first step I believe would be to help our own to overcome the challenges facing many of us because of the economy, our foodbanks are evidence of this plight.  We have many assets here in Trenton and we could use them to benefit our citizens more and we need to do just that.  To become a city that other cities would look up to and maybe follow our lead in helping their citizens who are struggling with employment issues using the resources of their own cities to do so.  Who knows, maybe we can redesign our state, from the bottom up?  I know that it wouldn't hurt to try....!
