WAG Animal Rescue, Neighbor

WAG is an all-volunteer, non-profit (501c3), domestic companion animal rescue organization dedicated to placing homeless dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens in permanent, loving, responsible homes.

Active in Southeast Michigan, with primary focus on the Downriver area for the past 21 years, WAG accepts strays and owner give-ups into our adoption program.

Because we do not have a shelter facility, WAG is dependent on select foster care providers to accommodate the needs of homeless animals until permanent placement is found. These very special volunteers are responsible for providing love and attention, as well as transporting the animals in their care to veterinary appointments and adopt-a-pet events. WAG pays for all necessary veterinary care, working directly with several local veterinary clinics. WAG is always in need of additional responsible foster care providers.

Our mission is to further the cause of animals and educate the public on the importance of spaying and neutering.
