Fermented Grapes Coming to Downtown 'Wine-Dotte'

Here's five things to know about the Third Friday Wine Crawl in Wyandotte.

The "crawl" in Wine Crawl doesn't refer to form of transportation patrons might use to get home when the night is over.

The Third Friday Wine Crawl is a chance for wine lovers to sample delicious fermented grapes, while checking out local businesses.

Here's five things to know about the 9th annual Third Friday Wine Crawl:

  • From 6 to 10 p.m. Aug. 16 Downtown Wyandotte will be transformed into Downtown "Wine-Dotte."
  • The wine tasting costs $20 per person.
  • The Wine Crawl is sponsored by the Wyandotte Business Association.
  • A portion of the proceeds go to support local non-profits.
  • Advance sales of 2013 wine glasses are available at Fine Things, 110 Sycamore; Traffic Jam Boutique, 3019 Biddle; It All Makes Scents, 3041 Biddle; 3152 Studio, 3152 Biddle; Wicks & Stones, 3138 Biddle; Country Enhancements, 2945 Biddle; Pip's Painting Pub, 113 Maple; Pottery Creations, 105 Maple; Second Step, 66 Sycamore; Smokies Restaurant, 930 Biddle.
