Where Will Jaycees Haunted House be Held This Year?

Here's a list of five things to know about the Wyandotte Jaycees annual haunted house.

Each year the Wyandotte Jaycees put on make up and costumes to raise funds for their organization by scaring the bajesus out of a willing audience.

The Wyandotte Jaycees are an organization comprised of people whose collective goal is to promote the welfare of our communities in Wyandotte and other Downriver cities through the completion of proactive community betterment projects, according to the organization's Facebook page.

The Jaycees haunted house is located at a different local somewhere in Wyandotte. 

Here's five things to know about the Wyandotte Jaycees 2013 haunted house:

  1. The Jaycees 2013 haunted house location is the old City Hall, 3131 Biddle Ave.
  2. Wyandotte City Council members approved the use of the old city hall building at Monday's city council meeting.
  3. The Jaycees haunted house must follow specific safety guidelines that include an automatic sprinkler system, automatoic alarm system and emergency lighting.
  4. The old city hall building is expected to be sold to MJC Construction Management and demolished after the haunted house.
  5. A garage sale is expected to be held Aug. 2 at the old city hall building to sell remaining items inside the building.
