You've Got Photos: Wyandotte Firefighters' Open House, Pancake Breakfast

The Wyandotte Fire Department hosted its annual event Sunday morning in conjunction with the start of national Fire Prevention Week.

The Wyandotte Fire Department's annual open house was on Sunday at Station No. 1, 266 Maple.

It featured an all-you-can-eat breakfast with lots of hotcakes, along with tours of the station and hands-on activities for children. The youngsters had an opportunity to try out a fire hose, with some help from a firefighter.

Proceeds will go to the firefighters’ charity fund, which helps families of sick firefighters, muscular dystrophy research foundations and youth sports teams.
